For Caregivers - Common Concern 1
Finding Clarity for Common Concerns
Common Concern 1: I have a child who does not seem to be meeting developmental milestones on time. I am unsure of what it could be. How do I help my child? Where can I go from here?
Caregiver’s Initial Response: Caregivers may consult with pediatricians and other healthcare providers about their child’s development. When discussing developmental concerns, caregivers may only have brief appointments with pediatricians and healthcare providers, which may not allow for thorough answers to complex questions.
Tandem’s Response 1: Children develop at different rates, and developmental delays can show up in many different ways, which can be confusing and concerning for caregivers. We understand that this can be overwhelming. You are not alone in this process, and we’re here to help you every step of the way.
Caregiver’s Next Steps: The first step in gaining clarity is scheduling a comprehensive psychological evaluation with Tandem. This evaluation will provide a thorough understanding of your child’s developmental needs and give you the actionable insights you need to move forward. To get started, you can call Tandem or complete the Evaluation Interest Form here.
